Principle of operation

TRT Triplex dryer operates in co-current, i.e., the material to be dried, and the hot combustion gases flow through the dryer tubes in the same direction from the inside to the outside. Material is fed into the central tube, passes through the dryer and is discharged through the double pendulum flap on the de-dusting cage.

Residual moisture of the product can be adjusted by adjusting the temperature of the exhaust gases and the time the material is in the dryer. Hot gases are produced in a combustion chamber using solid, liquid or gaseous fuels. It is possible to use process gases. Exhaust gases from the dryer are dusted in a filter.
