Spraying system with handheld appliance - MANTIS ULV

Sans titre-1

ULV spraying technique

There are many areas of application for Mantis ULV technology In industry, it is often necessary to distribute and spray different liquid agents in an economical and homogeneous way, e.g., anti-stick agents, flavourings and/or disinfectants.

In particular, anti-stick agents or mould release agents are used in various sectors, such as the production of prefabricated concrete elements, bakery products or plastic products. With savings of up to 75%, the benefits of Mantis ULV technology are evident, since it minimises the use of anti-stick agents and ensures better quality of finished products.

Flexible and portable use

As an alternative to the BL type industrial rotary atomizers a with pump and control unit, Mantis ULV also offers portable sprayers that are ideally suited for flexible use on small areas and for quick change of location. As the nozzle can be swivelled to the side, the edges of vertical moulds and walls can be sprayed easily without having to swivel the whole device.

Battery charge status and the nozzle function are electronically monitored. An LED indicator shows whether the device is working properly, whether the battery needs charging, or whether the nozzle has a functional fault. A forearm support is integrated in all units. BEMA-1000K and BEMA-P 1000K are available in two short models so that moulds on tables, for example, can be sprayed easily.

Industrial atomizer

ULV means Ultra Low Volume. In combination with the Mantis rotary atomiser, the ULV dosing system achieves an ideal droplet spectrum of approx. 35-45 µ, thus ensuring perfect distribution and optimum wetting of the surface.

The Mantis industrial atomiser type BL can generate up to 30 million droplets from one millilitre (1ml) of liquid. The rotating atomiser operates without pressure, spraying by centrifugal force through a specially designed atomiser disc. The droplets are deposited evenly on the surface of the object due to the vertical flow generated by the rotating disc and the force of gravity.
