Automated industrial spraying system - MANTIS ULV

Sans titre-2

Spraying technique

There are many areas of application for Mantis ULV technology. In industry, different liquid agents often have to be distributed and sprayed economically and homogeneously, e.g., release agents, flavourings and/or disinfectants.

Anti-stick or release agents in particular are used in various sectors, for example in the production of prefabricated concrete elements, bakery products or plastic products. With savings of up to 75%, the advantages of the Mantis ULV technique are obvious, as it minimises the use of release agents and ensures a better quality of the finished products.

Assembly system

Thanks to its modular design, MANTIS ULV technology can be integrated into almost any process chain. ULV rotary atomisers can be mounted in existing systems in different ways:

  • Fixed mounting above a transport device that lets the moulds pass under the atomisers
  • Fixed mounting on a gate that moves the atomisers over the moulds
  • Mobile mounting on a frame that is on the moulds to be sprayed

Variance

Spraying system with peristaltic pump and control unit

Suitable when the spraying system needs to be independently controlled and controlled. A control unit allows to control up to four pumps or nozzles. Independent MANTIS-ULV spraying systems with 1 to 4 nozzles are available.

Advantages:
  • The set of pumps can be achieved with a second pump or nozzle
  • The control unit allows nozzle control
  • The current flow rate as well as the volume already applied can be viewed on the screen
Spraying system with 6-piston pump, without its own control unit

Mainly suitable for integration into an existing centrally controlled system. One pump is mounted for each nozzle.

Advantages:
  • Spraying system can be switched on and off via an SPS control
  • Flow rate can be adjusted individually for each nozzle by means of the corresponding 6-piston pump
  • The number of nozzles can be freely selected
