Wash & Recycling Station for Returned and Residual Concrete ꟷ AJF

Mobile separator tank “mo-BAT”
AJF’s “Concrete Washout” unit processes returned concrete and truck-mixer wash water to recover reusable sand and aggregates, while establishing a closed-loop system for process water. The solution is designed for Ready-Mix plants and precast factories, with capacity and execution variants adapted to each site layout. It aims to cut disposal costs, secure effluent management, and speed up end-of-shift operations.
Typical operation & peripherals
Feeding is via a hopper specifically designed for truck mixers. Washing is then performed using an ascending-screw system, which separates mineral fractions (sand, aggregates) from slurry water, facilitating their reuse. For concrete pumps, a standalone bucket wheel allows the ascending screw to be installed at ground level without a pit. It also enables washing of concrete pumps, casting hoppers, etc., by lifting residuals back into the ascending screw. The inlet trough is designed for quick maintenance, thanks to direct cleaning at floor level.
Depending on truck throughput, 4-m (two mixers at once) or 6-m (up to three mixers) wash tables streamline operations; spray lances complete the installation. The whole system fits into AJF’s targeted closed loop for leftover concrete and wastewater.

All versions have an installed power of 11 kW.
- RS6 : capacity 12 m³/h; discharge height 2.00 m.
- RS8 : capacity 22 m³/h; discharge height 2.15 m.
- RT15 : capacity 15 m³/h; discharge height 1.80 m.
- RT25 : capacity 25 m³/h; discharge height 2.00 m.
